Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,511 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33331! Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct CVOR experience required, including scrub experience. License: Active nursing license required for practice in the relevant state. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of application), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start). Must-Have: Must have scrub experience in a cardiac operating room. Cardiac call required, with approximately 6 to 10 calls per month based on staffing needs. Description: The position requires experience in the cardiovascular operating room. The candidate will perform scrub duties as part of the role. Willingness to participate in training students and new staff is essential, as this is a teaching facility. There will be time-sensitive modules that need to be prioritized once confirmed for this assignment. All requested time off must be included up front during the application process. The facility enforces a smoke-free policy; travelers must be nicotine-free, with no exceptions. A negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine is required prior to start. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Candidates must pass EKG and Pharmacy tests during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts for each test allowed. Failure to pass these tests will result in cancellation of the contract. The environment includes a diverse range of cardiac surgical procedures. Candidates should be proficient with various surgical techniques and equipment in the cardiovascular specialty. This role involves on-call responsibilities, including weekends.
