(OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A Contract opportunity is
available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to
support K-12 students across a school district in Lehigh Acres and
LaBelle, FL. This role requires flexibility and the ability to
travel throughout the entire county, serving multiple school sites.
Updates regarding specific school assignments will be provided
prior to the start of the school year, typically over the summer.
Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students
from kindergarten through 12th grade in various school settings.
Assess and assist students with therapeutic interventions to
support their educational goals. Collaborate with educators,
therapists, and parents to develop individualized plans. Maintain
accurate documentation and comply with school district policies.
Travel across the county to provide services at multiple school
locations. Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required. Experience working
in school-based therapy settings preferred. Comfortable with
frequent travel across a broad geographic area. Strong
communication skills with the ability to work independently and as
part of a multidisciplinary team. Valid professional license in the
state of Florida. Location: Serving school sites throughout Hendry
County, including Lehigh Acres and LaBelle, FL. Candidates must be
willing to travel throughout the entire county. This is a contract
position with a set compensation rate for services. Candidates
should have an active license and be prepared to provide
